Our service supports Suffolk’s Joint Learning and Disability Strategy and our work for Suffolk County Council is managed and monitored through its Adult Social Care framework contract with that authority.  We subscribe to the following voluntary codes and quality assurance programmes.

• We seek external verification of our key policies and procedures.
• Our accounts are audited by external accountant.
• Our Health and Safety policy, risk register and practice is checked and audited every year by an external auditor.
• Our farm helper progression process, RARPA is externally reviewed and verified.

All our policies and procedures are available here, including our child and adult safeguarding policies, missing person policies and Health and safety policies.

Service quality is taken very seriously by our organisation.  Operational responsibility rests with our Director and it is monitored by the Board of Trustees through monthly service reports and quarterly reviews.   

Depden Care Farm was one of six winners in the UK Charity Governance Awards 2023.

Depden Care Farm is delighted that our commitment to the environment was celebrated  at Suffolk County Council’s Creating The Greenest County 2023 Awards. The Care Farm won the Green Small Business Award and was also Highly Commended in the Green Secondary School category.
